My Story
I am a tenure track researcher (Ph.D) in Social Sciences. With an impetus background in International Human Rights Law and International Relations, I am an expert in Migration, Refugee protection,Humanitarian intervention, Diplomacy, Peace and Conflict. I am a graduate of LLB (Law and European Studies) from the University of Limerick – Ireland, (MA) Governance and Political Transformation from the University of Free State – South Africa, (MA) Criminal Justice, Governance and Police Science from Faculty of Law of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB) in Germany and Ghent University, (MSc) Sociology of Law from Lund University – Sweden, (MA) Peacebuilding from Coventry University (UK), (MA) International Development Practice from Mary Immaculate College / University of Limerick – Ireland, (MComm) Government and Public Policy from University College Cork – Ireland, (MA) Religion in Peace and Conflict from Uppsala University – Sweden, Professional Masters European Studies (Project Consultant and CommunityAdvisor) UCL and CCITABEL.

I have studied in many countries, among these are: Ireland, South Africa, Germany, Sweden, Spain and United Kingdom. I also took part in exchange program with Stockholm University in Political Science department. While I was studying at the University of Limerick, I worked with a local NGO helping Asylum Seekers and Refugees in giving free legal services and information on the same. I also volunteered for Benjamin N.Cardozo School of Law – New York. I did research on Africa in particular in areas of peace and conflict with the emphasis on South Sudan conflict, Darfur and the Ethio-Eritrean Conflict.
I was also affiliated and former contributor to the research group ‘Governing and Policing Security’ (GaPS) within the Department Business and Public Administration at Ghent University. Since January 2014 I was visiting lecturer at the Ruhr University in Bochum within the framework of the International Master Criminal Justice, Governance and Police Science. I am a member of the Executive Board of Global Network for Socio Economic Research Development and International Conference of Socio-Economic Researchers (ICSR).
